Belgian Waffle Ride Utah 2023

Welcome to the Belgian Waffle Ride (BWR), the most unique cycling event in the U.S. This is the fourth edition of the Cedar City event, offering a different experience with a mostly unroad route on gravel, sand, and rock at altitude. Join cyclists from road, gravel, mountain, and triathlon worlds for an exciting race.

The BWR Utah, Hell of the South, features roughly nine road sectors and half the climbing of San Diego’s BWR CA. Despite the differences, the Utah edition promises the same insanity, challenge, and unparalleled experience that made BWR famous.

World-class cyclists, former WorldTour riders, and defending champions from BWR CA come to conquer the unique challenge. Riders of all abilities tackle the same course after an initial neutral section.

Choose between the Waffle Ride (137 miles, 11,000 ft climbing) or the Wafer Ride (79 miles, with the first 58 miles on the Waffle course and the last 8 miles following the Waffle course). Get ready for waffles, cycling excitement, and a pre-race party in Cedar City!
