Crystal Mountain Bike Benzie Tour

The 16th annual Benzie Sunrise Rotary Bike Event, now known as the Crystal Mountain Bike Benzie Tour, promises an engaging experience for families at Crystal Mountain Golf & Ski Resort in Thompsonville, Michigan, on June 1, 2024.

This year, participants can choose from 63, 46, and 28-mile routes that traverse the picturesque highways and byways of Benzie County. These routes are designed to ensure safety with rest stops, course safety monitors, and robust SAG support. The event is focused on providing a leisurely and scenic cycling experience rather than a competitive race, making it ideal for families and cyclists of all ages.

Special registration discounts are available for families and riders under 18, enhancing its family-friendly appeal. It’s important to note that while Class 1 and Class 3 e-bikes are permitted on the Betsie Valley Trail sections of the course, Class 2 throttle assist e-bikes are not allowed, and a portion of the trail features crushed limestone. This event not only offers great cycling but also the same renowned food and after-party that participants have enjoyed in the past.
