Englewood Open CX 2024

The Englewood Open CX is a premier cyclocross event set to take place on September 7 and 8, 2024, at the Englewood Grass Farm in Fall River, Wisconsin. This UCI-sanctioned race attracts top cyclists from around the region and beyond, offering a challenging course designed specifically for cyclocross competition.​

• Registration: Participants are encouraged to register online by midnight on Thursday, September 5, 2024. On-site registration is available for USA Cycling categories, though racers registering on-site will not be eligible for call-ups. Payment via cash or check is recommended due to potential limitations with credit card processing at the venue.

Course Overview: The 2.8-kilometer course has been meticulously crafted over four years to leverage the natural terrain of the Englewood Grass Farm. Racers will encounter punchy climbs, log run-ups, and wooden planks, all designed to test their agility and endurance.

Schedule Highlights:

• Friday, September 6: Course preview available from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM​

• Saturday, September 7: UCI Class-1 and USA Cycling races​

• Sunday, September 8: UCI Class-1 and USA Cycling races​

Note: Registration opens one hour before the first race each day. USA Cycling race registration closes 30 minutes before each race, while UCI sign-in closes 60 minutes prior to the respective race. ​

Venue Guidelines: As the event is hosted on an active, family-owned farm, attendees are asked to adhere to the following rules to ensure safety and respect for the property:​Englewood Events

• Avoid touching fences, as they are electrified.​

• No pets allowed to ensure the safety of guests and livestock.​

• Refrain from bringing glass bottles; broken glass poses a danger to cattle.

• Utilize provided trash bins to keep the farm clean.

• Do not discard gel packs on the course; littering may result in time penalties.​

Amenities: On-site concessions will feature Englewood grass-fed beef burgers, snacks, and drinks. Cash payments are preferred to facilitate quicker service and maintain lower prices.
