Both the long and medium courses share the road to Pan de Azúcar, where they diverge. The long course heads north, presenting cyclists with a series of challenging climbs through rural landscapes.

Challenges and Rewards
The wind plays a crucial role, dictating the pace and offering variations in direction. Short yet steep climbs characterize the route, with an 80km stretch of relentless ascents on the long course. Climbs range from 300m to 1km, with inclines averaging 8% to 12%. The long course is a true test of endurance, while the medium route offers a more accessible option.

The long course is a competition, with finishers eligible for category rankings and overall awards. The top 10% in each age group secure a spot in the Qualifier Corral at all GFNY World events. On the other hand, the medium course is not a competition, allowing riders to enjoy their start-to-finish time without formal rankings.
