The Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal 2022 is a 221.4km race consisting of 4842 meters of climbing. The 12.2km circuit has a strong cycling heritage. Eddy Merckx participated in 1974 World Championships.
The circuit goes around he Parc du Mont-Royal and features three climbs and a short kick leading up to the finish line. Each lap includes 263 meter of climbing. The first 1.8km climb is at 8%, leading to the summit of the Côte Camillien-Houde in the center of the park. Riders then descend to the city streets before climbing the Côte de Polytechnique, a short 780m length climb at 6%.
