Heart of the Rockies Gran Fondo

Heart of the Rockies Gran Fondo 2024 is a premier cycling event set against the stunning backdrop of Invermere, BC. This year’s event promises a challenging and exhilarating experience for cyclists of all levels, with meticulously planned routes and a host of amenities to ensure a memorable ride.

Course Details

60km Route

Mass start, north on 4th Ave, then left on 4th St, left on 7th Ave, right on 15th St, right on 8th Ave, and left on 13th Ave.
Ride up the hill through town, turn left at the four-way stop onto 13th St.
Ride south on Westside Road until HWY 95 and return.
Aid station at the turn stocked with Glyco-Durance, water, and gels.
Watch for traffic as you turn home.

100km Route

Mass start, north on 4th Ave, then left on 4th St, left on 7th Ave, right on 15th St, right on 8th Ave, and left on 13th Ave.
Ride up the hill through town, turn left at the four-way stop onto 13th St.
Ride south on Westside Road until HWY 95 (first aid station).
Turn right on HWY 95 and travel south to Canal Flats.
Turn left onto Burns Ave, right onto Grainger Road, left onto Cut Off Road, then right onto HWY 95 to return (second aid station).
Return north on HWY 95, left on Westside Road (aid station).
Follow the same route back to Kinsmen Beach.
