Step into the timeless tradition of pecan shaking at Pecan Shaker, where you become the pecan tree and miles of gravel roads serve as the shaker. Speed through scenic pecan groves and conquer a diverse range of terrain, just like the challenging Bird Dog 100 course.

Our top priorities are your safety and enjoyment, which is why we take pride in providing exceptional support throughout the event:

Medical Support: We’ve organized our dedicated team of on-course medical support to ensure swift assistance and reduce the strain on rural EMS resources.

Superbly-Signed Course: Our course signage goes above and beyond, ensuring everyone can navigate with ease and reach the finish line party.

Timed-Segment Race Format: Prepare for some exciting competition as our races feature 1-3 timed segments, pushing riders to excel on our favorite course sections.

Fully-Stocked Aid Stations: Stay refreshed and energized with our 2-4 fully stocked aid stations, offering fresh fruit, soft drinks, sports hydration, snacks, comfortable seating, and well-maintained porta-potties, even in remote locations.

Mechanical and SAG Support: Our roving support vehicles are equipped with mechanical assistance and medical support, ready to handle any on-course challenges you might encounter. Rest assured, we’ve got your back.

Get ready for a fun-filled experience as our races focus on maximizing your smiles-per-mile with our timed-segment race format. Unlike traditional sufferfest races, we embrace the party on two wheels. Ride alongside friends through each transfer stage, then give it your all during each timed segment. After the thrill of competition, regroup at the finish and ride together to the next segment, creating unforgettable memories together.

Each course will feature up to three timed segments, accounting for up to 50% of the total course distance. Our course design and approvals with local law enforcement are in progress, and we’ll soon unveil all the exciting specifics.

Choose from our carefully crafted routes:

Short: 40 miles, 1300 feet elevation
Intermediate: 70 miles, 2500 feet elevation
Long: 100 miles, 3300 feet elevation
