Trans-Nomad 2026

Event Overview

Trans-Nomad 2026 is a high-mountain blind enduro MTB adventure in the Spanish Central Pyrenees, combining four days of racing with a five-day event experience. The ninth edition will use the Bielsa Valley and Bielsa Trocs as its main base before heading toward the Benasque Valley and Puro Pirineo. Riders will tackle trails without traditional pre-riding, making route reading, technical skills, pacing, and adaptability essential.

The 2026 edition features a new stage reaching nearly 2,900 meters of elevation, with the full course intentionally kept “blind” and revealed only shortly before the race. The event is limited to 90 riders and covers approximately 200 km across 16 stages, according to the current official event information.

The event runs from September 30 to October 5, 2026, while the racing takes place from October 1 to 4.

Ride Experience

  • Blind Enduro Racing – Ride technical stages without conventional pre-riding or full advance course knowledge.
  • High-Mountain Terrain – Experience the Bielsa, Chistau, and Benasque valleys in the Central Pyrenees.
  • New 2,900 m Challenge – Tackle a new stage that climbs to nearly 2,900 meters.
  • 16 Timed Stages – The 2026 event is listed with around 200 km and 16 stages.
  • Multi-Day MTB Adventure – Racing is combined with accommodation, meals, transfers, and event support during the five-day experience.

Why It Stands Out

  • Blind racing format adds a strong element of technical decision-making and adaptability.
  • Pyrenean alpine setting combines high-altitude terrain, natural landscapes, and technical mountain trails.
  • Small field of 90 riders keeps the event relatively limited in size.
  • Bielsa Trocs and Puro Pirineo provide two of the key trail destinations for the 2026 edition.
  • Race and adventure in one format makes Trans-Nomad more than a conventional enduro race.
