Drive SL 58D CS
A road wheelset with a masterful balance of aerodynamics and stiffness, delivering top-tier performance for riders pursuing ultimate efficiency and a competitive edge.
Built with a 25mm internal width, it unlocks the true potential of 29–32C tires — lower pressure for unmatched ride quality, yet reduced drag for higher speeds. Inside, a one-piece titanium freehub (60T/6°) delivers instant engagement and long-term durability, while a precisely tuned hub with a tension difference of ≤7kgf between both sides and an increase in lateral stiffness ensures that much more watt is transferred directly to the road.
All of this is wrapped in a lightweight 1330g package (36mm front / 34mm rear external widths), validated by over 20 laboratory tests and wind-tunnel-proven real-world performance.

What a value. These wheels spec wise are right up there with ENVE SES wheels but at a fraction of the price and these are hooked. The modern 25mm internal will blowup the tire about 2mm more or less. I am using a set of GP5000 S TR 35mm and that measure 37mm, which has a pretty good transition on the front wheel with a 36mm external. For a 58mm deep wheel the 1330g stated weight is good, granted there are other Chinese wheelsets that are lighter, but with the caveat they aren’t cheaper. My wheels weighed in at 1350g with tape and valves. I do miss the glossy crushed carbon of the Drive 1 and 2 Series, but the subtle black decals are fine. The CS version with carbon spokes is stiff but not uncomfortably stiff like with some other brands, where the lack of compliance gets uncomfortable. The wheels are defiantly fast and just hum along and some would say they hold speed well. Once shipped, the wheels took 10 days to get to me in the US in NY. I love the wheels so much I decided to buy a second set but in the SL CS 48D version and will be mounting some light gravel tires on these. Elite still sends out spare spokes, the valves have core removal caps, and Elite actually does a really good tape job.
