Velo TT Rim

The Velo TT is designed to give you the marginal gains you need to race against the clock in time trials and triathlons.
A high-performance wheel needs to look good. The wheel features a minimalistic UD carbon weave that is pleasing to the eyes.
When it comes to racing, we believe that every second counts. In our opinion, a good disc wheel should be more than aerodynamic.

*Instructions for the first assembly: Tubeless tires must be ridden for at least 25 km directly after the sealant is added so as to ensure they are air tight.

*Please note that it will take approximately 30-45 days to prepare orders for Velo TT Rim wheelsets with due to their popularity.

Velo TT Rim MARGINAL GAINS

Velo TT Rim MARGINAL GAINS

MARGINAL GAINS

Elitewheels is a big proponent of marginal gains and knows that many small improvements can add up. Because of this, the Velo TT wheel incorporates a valve cutout cover that the rider can choose to use. Wind tunnel testing has shown that it can save the precious seconds in a time trial.
As compared to our previous TT wheels, the new Velo TT features a wider internal rim width without compromising the wheel’s aerodynamics. This allows for wider tires to be used, improving comfort on long time trials and less than optimal road surfaces as well as increasing grip in wet conditions.

Velo TT Rim PMI CORE

Velo TT Rim PMI CORE

PMI CORE

The interior is consists of a lightweight, high-density aerospace PMI (polymethacrylimide) foam core. It offers all of the benefits of honeycomb type cores but with improved strength and impact resistance.
As opposed to using other core materials, our specially machined PMI allows us to design a lighter weight wheel that is exceptionally stiff. It is also fatigue resistant, so you can continue to use the wheel season after season, without any loss in performance.

Velo TT Rim BRAKING SURFACE

BRAKING SURFACE

The Velo TT Rim’s braking surface uses a blend of high-temperature resin developed by Elitewheels and Japanese Toray T800 carbon fiber. This ensures safe and effective braking even on long descents.
