The Best Buddies Challenge 2024 offers an exciting series of cycling and running events across various locations, supporting Best Buddies International’s mission to enhance the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Here’s an overview of what each event entails:

Hyannis Port, Massachusetts
Date: June 1, 2024
Activities: Participants can choose from cycling distances of 100, 55, or 20 miles or opt for a 5K run/walk. The cycling routes traverse scenic country roads to Hyannis Port beach, supported by rest stops and support vehicles. Post-event celebrations include a lobster clambake, open bar, and a private concert.
Celebration: The event culminates at Craigville Beach with professional massages and a festive atmosphere​​.

Date: October 19, 2024
Location: Summit Skywalker Ranch, Marin County
Activities: The event features cycling routes of 80 or 38 miles through picturesque landscapes like Tomales Bay and Point Reyes, with pro cyclists and support staff enhancing the experience. Participants will enjoy a gourmet luncheon, wine, and live entertainment post-ride.
Additional Details: The day is filled with luxury support such as on-site bike technicians, showers, and post-ride massages​​.

Miami, Florida
Date: November 16, 2024
Activities: A 100-mile cycling event starting and ending at the Four Seasons Hotel Miami, featuring a police-escorted peloton and professional athletes. The route offers waterfront views and passes through iconic locations like South Beach and Key Biscayne.
Celebration: The event wraps up with the Best Buddies Miami Gala, featuring a gourmet dinner, auction, and entertainment, celebrating the impact of participants’ fundraising efforts.
Exclusive Offers: Registered participants also gain access to VIP events throughout the year and a special reception the day before the main event​​.
