Prepare to climb hills like never before seen in Iowa, offering great preparation for aspiring climbers. The Loess Hills State Forest area is amazing and hilly, with beautiful valleys of the Little Sioux River and Soldier River Cutoff. Expect diverse and challenging terrain, with estimated elevation over 4,000 ft. The breathtaking climbs and vistas make it all worthwhile. Pisgah’s City Park offers excellent facilities, including camping and showers.
