
Slovenian Cycling Team Kranj
Team Introduction:
Cycling Team Kranj is a Slovenian UCI Continental team. It originated form the amateur Kolesarski Klub Branj (Sava), which was founded in 1957. The original team, Sava Kranj, was established in 2001. The current riders are young and have a lot of potential. The team in fact has a reputation for producing some of the world’s best riders, namely Grega Bole, Kristijan Koren, Luka Mezgec, Tadej Valjavec, and Matej Mohorič, each of which have all spent the greater part of a decade racing for both ProTeams and WorldTeams. They played a part in the success of teams like Bahrain Merida, Lampre – ISD, Liquigas – Cannondale, Team Giant Shimano, Team BikeExchange – AlUla, AG2R La Mondiale, and Bahrain – Victorious.
