Bluewater International Granfondo 2024

The 8th Annual Bluewater International Granfondo invites cyclists to explore Lambton County’s Bluewater Land, starting and finishing at the picturesque Mike Weir Park in the city of Sarnia. Taking place on Sunday, August 4th, 2024, this event offers four routes to choose from: 30k, 50k, 100k, and 150k.

Participants can expect outstanding views along the way, including the stunning shores of Lake Huron, quiet country roads, and the rolling hills of Arkona’s thriving fruit orchards. Unlike traditional races, this Granfondo features timed sections instead of a start-to-finish format, allowing riders to stop and regroup at fuel stations and enjoy the route with friends.

After the ride, cyclists can look forward to a hot meal and cold beverages, as well as event jerseys, swag bags, and finisher medals for all participants. In-ride bike support, well-marked routes, free food and beverages at the finish, and beer for purchase are also included. Cyclists must be at least 15 years old to participate, unless accompanied by an adult in the family ride.
