The Lake Constance Cycling Marathon, one of Europe’s most beloved cycling events, is returning for its 52nd edition on September 13, 2025. Set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Constance, the marathon offers cyclists a unique opportunity to explore the tri-border region encompassing Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Organized by the RV Altenrhein (CH) cycling club, the event continues to provide an unforgettable cycling experience for riders of all levels – from beginners to seasoned athletes.
Event Background
For over 50 years, the Lake Constance Cycling Marathon has been a key event for cycling enthusiasts, combining challenging routes with incredible camaraderie. Part of the prestigious Swiss Cycling Top Tour, the event invites cyclists to take on one of four scenic routes that meander through the beautiful landscape of Lake Constance. From beginners to experienced athletes, every rider is guaranteed a well-supported, scenic, and memorable ride.
Whether you’re here for the thrill of competition or just looking for a fun day out on your bike, the Lake Constance Cycling Marathon delivers it all with great support, route signage, and an energizing atmosphere. Event Schedule

Start Times: Riders can start between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on event day, with a set time frame for each route.
Registration Details
Riders can select from four different routes based on their level of experience, with options ranging from 50 km to 220 km:
1. G old Tour: 220 km (CHF 65.00/Euro 70.00)
2. Silver Tour: 150 km (CHF 55.00/Euro 60.00)
3 . Bronze Tour: 80 km (CHF 35.00/Euro 40.00)
4.Gravel Tour: 50 km (CHF 45.00/Euro 50.00)
Participants can register individually for any of these routes, and group registration options are also available for groups of two or more.
Additionally, #fastandfemaleSUI subscribers are eligible for a 10% discount on the pre-registration fee.
Important Notes:
Late registration incurs a CHF 10/Euro 10 surcharge.
Participants are responsible for their own accident, theft, and liability insurance. The eveorganizersers assume no responsibility for claims arising from accidents.
The Routes
The Lake Constance Cycling Marathon offers a choice of four breathtaking routes that provide a mix of flat and hilly terrain. Each route highlights the diverse beauty of the region:
Gold Tour: The longest and most challenging, spanning 220 km and offering stunning views across the lake.
Silver Tour: A 150 km route for those looking for a middle ground between challenge and enjoyment.
Bronze Tour: The perfect route for beginners or those wishing to enjoy a shorter ride, covering 80 km.
Gravel Tour: A 50 km off-road experience for gravel bike enthusiasts, offering a unique way to experience the natural beauty around the lake.
The routes cross through Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, with excellent signage and a well-supported course offering rest stops, catering, and mechanical assistance.
Entry Fee & Services
Entry fees are as follows:
Gold Tour: CHF 65.00 / Euro 70.00
Silver Tour: CHF 55.00 / Euro 60.00
Bronze Tour: CHF 35.00 / Euro 40.00
Gravel Tour: CHF 45.00 / Euro 50.00
Late Registration Fee: CHF 10 / Euro 10 surcharge
Included in the registration fee:
Starting number and race kit
Ferry ticket and refreshment wristbands
Full support along the route (water stations, medical aid, mechanical support)
Access to post-ride facilities and medal collection at the finish
Pre-Event Services: Riders can pick up their race kits at the starting points (Altenrhein, Tägerwilen, Stein am Rhein, Meersburg, Kressbronn) on September 12th and 13th.
