Fall River Century 2024

Fall River Mills is nestled in a pristine valley in northeastern California, offering numerous opportunities for solitary rides with stunning views of two of California’s famous volcanoes: Mt. Shasta to the northwest and Lassen Peak to the south. The event is limited to 500 riders, with an additional 100 spots available for day-of-ride registrants.
Start Times:
All riders can start at 7:00 am (mandatory for the two longer rides).
100k riders must start by 8:00 am.
25-mile riders must start by 9:00 am.
Directions:
From the south: Take Interstate 5 to Redding, then State Route 299 East for 74 miles to McArthur. Look for the lit sign at the Intermountain Fair, turn left, and go straight for one block to reach the Intermountain Fairgrounds, the starting point for the ride.
From the north: Exit Interstate 5 at Mt. Shasta, go through McCloud to State Route 299. Turn left (east) at the four-way stop and follow for fifteen miles to the Intermountain Fair in McArthur.
Food and Meals:
Breakfast begins at 5:30 am, provided by the American Legion, including hotcakes, ham, eggs, and coffee.
A celebration dinner is planned for all riders, with tickets available for non-riding guests for a small fee.
Lunch will be served in the cool and shady Main Hall at the fairgrounds, with a vegetarian option available (please indicate preference on the registration form).
Party for the Century:
Enjoy lots of food, drinks, and live music on Friday night from 5 to 10 pm, brought to you by the Fall River Valley Chamber of Commerce.
About the Ride:
Sag Wagons and mechanics will be available.
Four routes to choose from: 25 miles, 100 km, 100 miles, and 200 km.
Well-stocked rest stops along the way.
Typical weather includes cool mornings and warm afternoons, with a chance of thundershowers in July.
Rules:
All riders must wear an approved helmet.
Bikes must be roadworthy, and riders must obey all traffic laws.
