Grand Raid Godefroy 2024

The Grand Raid Godefroy is set to take place in Bouillon, Belgium, on September 8, 2024. This event promises a thrilling challenge for mountain biking enthusiasts, with a special enduro race scheduled for the preceding day, September 7. The enduro race will feature a demanding, reserved course designed to test both technical skills and physical endurance. Riders will face six timed stages over a 35 km loop, with a total elevation gain of over 1,200 meters. The route offers a variety of terrains, breathtaking viewpoints, and newly traced sections filled with unexpected challenges, including treacherous roots and time-worn schist trails. After overcoming these obstacles, participants can look forward to celebrating their achievements and sharing stories in the shadow of Bouillon Castle.

For gravel biking fans, the GRG Gravel race, part of the Grand Raid Godefroy, offers two meticulously designed courses that explore the beautiful Semois Valley. Riders will navigate rolling paths along the river, challenging forest descents, and scenic routes over the Ardennes peaks. The courses lead upstream from Bouillon through areas like Dohan, Herbeumont, Chassepierre, and the Epioux massif, crossing the new Semois Valley National Park.

Additionally, the GRG Marathon offers four different distances—120 km, 90 km, 70 km, and 50 km—each with varying levels of difficulty, providing options for cyclists of all abilities.
