Route Length: Granfondo: 121.5 km with 3,400 meters of climbing. Mediofondo: 96.8 km with 2,600 meters of climbing. Maximum Time: Riders must complete the race within 7 hours, with the course closing at 3:30 PM. Feed Zones: Throughout the race, several feed zones are located at Meana di Susa, Colle delle Finestre, Sestriere (GPM), and Sestriere (Arrival). Time Gates: Time checkpoints will be enforced along the route. Riders who fail to reach certain points within the specified time will be redirected to the finish line. Registration Details Opening: Registration opens on November 1, 2024. Registration Fees: €50 until January 9, 2025 (first 400 registrations). €55 until June 2, 2025 (next 800 registrations). €60 until July 3, 2025 (final 500 registrations). €75 for on-site registration (300 spots available). Gold Subscription: For those looking to start in the front grid, a limited number of Gold BIBs are available. Team Registration: Teams of 10 or more must register offline for a group discount. The Route The Granfondo Sestriere Colle delle Finestre offers two main routes:Granfondo Route: This 121.5 km challenge takes cyclists through some of the most scenic and difficult terrain in Italy. The race begins in Sestriere Borgata, passing through Cesana, Oulx, Salbertrand, and Exilles, before reaching the legendary Colle delle Finestre. From there, the route continues to Sauze di Cesana and back to Sestriere via Cesana. Cyclists tackling the Granfondo will experience a total elevation gain of 3,400 meters. Mediofondo Route: A slightly shorter 96.8 km route with 2,600 meters of climbing. The route turns back from Usseaux, passes through Pragelato, and finishes in Sestriere. Colle delle Finestre: One of the most famous climbs in cycling history, known for its steep gradients and gravel section, Colle delle Finestre presents a true test for riders. Feed Zones: The race includes several key feed zones located in Meana di Susa, Colle delle Finestre, and Sestriere (GPM and Finish).
