Event Background
The Gravelty Stelvio is a multi-day gravel adventure in the heart of the Italian Alps, featuring iconic routes around Bormio, Italy. This event is designed for gravel cyclists looking to challenge themselves with tough climbs, stunning alpine scenery, and a comprehensive event experience. Participants will ride through gravel roads and old military tracks, exploring famous passes such as the Stelvio Pass and Gavia, while tackling significant elevation gains.

Event Schedule
August 22, 2025 (Friday) – Arrival in Bormio

Check-in at Hotel Baita dei Pini.
Final briefing, equipment check, and mechanical support are available.
Evening Launch Party with a dinner buffet to kick off the event.
August 23, 2025 (Saturday) – Stage 1: 65 km with 1,300 meters of elevation

The first day of cycling begins with a climb to 2,000 meters.
Ride from Bormio towards the Torre dei Fraele and Lago di Cancano.
Technical support and daily care packages will be provided.
August 24, 2025 (Sunday) – Stage 2: 54 km with 2,100 meters of elevation

The stage takes riders above 2,000 meters, with scenic gravel roads and technical descents.
Highlights include Bagni Vecchi and gravel roads over 2,700 meters to the reservoirs of Cancano.
August 25, 2025 (Monday) – Stage 3: 79 km with 2,500 meters of elevation

The third stage includes the Umbrail Pass, one of the most scenic Alpine climbs.
Participants will reach 2,500 meters and enjoy 20 km downhill on the Strada dello Stelvio.
August 26, 2025 (Tuesday) – Stage 4: 60 km with 2,400 meters of elevation

The final stage features the climb to Stelvio Pass and a descent towards the Bocchetta di Forcola at almost 2,800 meters.
The route includes rugged, steep gravel paths.
Finishers Pasta Party in the evening to celebrate the achievement.
August 27, 2025 (Wednesday) – Departure

Final breakfast and return trip home.
Registration Details
Opening Date: Registration opens soon.
Maximum Participants: Limited to 40 participants.
Registration Deadline: The Early Bird registration discount is available until November 1, 2024.
Entry Fee
€799 (early bird price before November 1, 2024) for participants sharing a room.
€1,099 for a single room (limited availability).
The fee covers:
5 nights’ accommodation (Aug 22–27) at Hotel Baita dei Pini.
All meals, including the Launch Party dinner and the Finishers Pasta Party.
A Gravelty Stelvio clothing package (cycling jersey, arm warmers, gilet, and 4 pairs of socks).
Guided routes, GPX tracks for each stage, and technical support.
Daily care packages (Maxim Sports Nutrition) and a first drink at the finish line.
Finishers medal and a personalized steering wheel sign.
The Route
The route takes riders through some of the most beautiful and challenging gravel roads in the Italian Alps. The stages vary in length from 54 km to 79 km per day, with elevation gains ranging from 1,300 meters to over 2,500 meters per stage. Participants will explore:

The Torre dei Fraele and Lago di Cancano.
The Umbrail Pass and Stelvio Pass, are two of Europe’s most famous climbs.
Various ancient gravel roads and military tracks with stunning alpine views.
