Gulf Coast Cycle Fest 2024

The Gulf Coast CycleFest 2024 is set to make a grand return this fall, promising an enhanced experience for all participants. Taking place in the picturesque Sarasota/Manatee area along Florida’s Gulf Coast, this signature event offers cyclists a choice of scenic routes spanning 16, 36, 62, and 100 miles, catering to various skill levels and preferences. Limited to 850 participants, the CycleFest includes complimentary breakfast, lunch, well-stocked rest stops, and a lively Finish Line Party on Lakewood Ranch Main Street. Riders can also expect well-marked routes, detailed maps, and SAG support throughout the journey, all provided by enthusiastic volunteers.

Beyond the ride, Gulf Coast CycleFest is a significant fundraiser for the Sarasota-Manatee Bicycle Club (SMBC), supporting their charitable giving, including a $40,000 donation in 2021 for the Legacy Trail expansion. The event also funds the club’s efforts in promoting bicycling, bike safety, and advocacy programs within the community.
