Hardennes Gravel Tour Event Background The Hardennes Gravel Tour (Hardennes GT) is an ultra-distance cycling event that combines the challenge of self-supported bikepacking with the rugged beauty of the Ardennes region. Taking place in Belgium and France, this race is a key event in the Ultra Distance Cycling Championship – Resist & Ride, known for its grueling off-road trails and stunning natural landscapes. It promises participants an unforgettable adventure through dense forests, picturesque valleys, and historic Walloon cities. The 2025 edition, scheduled as Chapter III, features two race options: 700 km, with an elevation gain of 11,000 m+ 300 km, with 4,000 m+ elevation gain With a 65% off-road route ratio, the Hardennes GT challenges even seasoned riders to push their limits while navigating the Ardennes’ unique terrain. Insurance covering accidents, evacuation, and medical costs (included for EU participants). Self-supported equipment (mandatory gear checks during check-in).
