The Gran route is designed for those seeking epic climbs, including the legendary Skyuka Mountain KOM and the thrilling switchbacks of Green River Cove.
Participants should note a crucial safety regulation: carbon clincher rim brake wheels are not permitted on the Gran course due to the steep descent down Skyuka Mountain. However, they are allowed on the shorter Medio and Piccolo courses. Disc brake carbon wheels are approved for all routes, ensuring cyclists can safely enjoy the demanding terrain of this iconic event.
