The BikeSide MTB Festival, formerly known as the Iron Bike Race, is set to take place from September 20 to September 22, 2024, in Einsiedeln, Switzerland. This premier mountain biking event combines grueling marathon trails, exhilarating enduro stages, and an immersive bike village experience.
Iron Bike Race features challenging marathon routes with rocky climbs, rapid descents, sharp turns, and muddy conditions. Participants can choose from long, medium, and short courses, each offering a unique test of endurance and skill against a stunning backdrop of lakes and hills.
Enduro Race highlights the Swiss Enduro Series’ season finale. Riders will tackle demanding stages, culminating in a spectacular final stage through the main street of Einsiedeln, where spectators can witness high-speed action and daring feats.
The Bike Village will be bustling with energy at the Klosterplatz, showcasing thrilling shows, exciting challenges, delicious street food, and the latest in biking gear and technology. The village will be hosted by former pro cyclist and event moderator Franco Marvulli, creating a vibrant atmosphere for all attendees.
