L’Ultr’Averne

L’Ultr’Averne 2024, taking place from July 3 to July 7, 2024, in the scenic region of Livradois-Forez, Auvergne, promises an intense cycling adventure through some of France’s most legendary routes and climbs. This ultra-endurance event offers two distance options to cater to different levels of cycling enthusiasts:

L’Ultr’Arverne 14,500: This option spans 778 kilometers and features a total elevation gain of 14,500 meters.
L’Ultr’Arverne 11,000: A shorter route, covering 573 kilometers with an elevation gain of 11,000 meters.
Both routes start at 7:00 AM from the Esplanade Robert-Lacroix in Ambert and participants have 82 hours to complete the chosen course. The event is designed to test cyclists’ endurance and resilience, providing a full experience with GPS tracking, round-the-clock support, and essentials like food, shower, and sleeping facilities at two life bases along the route.
