The Morocco Bike Adventure 2024 promises an unforgettable journey through the stunning landscapes of Morocco. Scheduled for October 5th, the adventure begins with a rider briefing and registration, followed by the official start on October 6th at 09:00 in Tangier, Morocco. Participants will conclude their epic ride in Sidi Ifni, with a celebratory finisher party on October 19th.
The event features two categories: solo and pair riders, and offers two challenging routes. The PISTE route covers 2,300km with an elevation gain of 23,000 meters, limited to 20 experienced bikepackers due to its demanding nature. Riders must have advanced navigation skills and the ability to remain calm in extreme conditions such as sandstorms in the desert or mountain storms. The ROAD route spans 2,444km with a total elevation gain of 28,000 meters.
Tangier, the start point, is a historic port city on the Strait of Gibraltar, known for its rich culture and scenic views, famously featured in the James Bond film “The Living Daylight.” This adventure is not just a race; it is a test of endurance and a journey through one of the most captivating regions in the world.
