Race to the Sun Scheduled for March 15, 2025, the Paris-Nice Challenge, affectionately known as the “Race to the Sun,” continues the tradition of one of cycling’s premier events. We meet in the heart of Nice for a unique off-road experience – the Paris-Nice Challenge! You will cycle the last section of the route from Paris to Nice. Like a scout, ride 131 kilometers on the open road, climbing 2,370 meters, and blazing a trail for professional cyclists.
If you are in good shape, you can extend the Paris-Nice challenge to explore the magnificent Col de Madonne, a total of 148 km and 2,930 meters of ascent!
History: The Paris-Nice Challenge has a rich history, originating in 1933 as a hot-weather training ground for cyclists. Over the decades, it has grown into a renowned international competition, producing many legendary riders and unforgettable moments.
