Ride the Alps – Sanetsch

Ride the Alps – Sanetsch 2024, scheduled for June 21, is a challenging cycling event that takes participants through the scenic Valais region in Switzerland. The climb starts on the Rhone plain and ascends to over 2200 meters, covering a vertical distance of nearly 1,800 meters. The route passes through diverse landscapes, including vineyards, forests, alpine pastures, and near the Tsanfleuron glacier, providing a varied and visually stunning experience for the riders.

The event is part of the “Ride the Alps” series, which features five exceptional climbs across three regions over four weekends. This series, supported by the Fédération Cycliste Valaisanne, not only highlights the natural beauty and challenging terrain of the Valais but also includes a tombola to support young local cyclists, with prizes like specialized bikes and cycling gear.
