Sadistic Century 2024
During Sadistic Century cycling event cyclists are invited to challenge themselves amidst the picturesque hills and valleys surrounding Menomonie, WI, at the renowned Sadistic Century. Featuring over 30 climbs and an impressive 8,819 feet of elevation gain, this event offers both breathtaking scenery and formidable challenges.
Event Overview:
Scheduled for Saturday, August 10, 2024, the day begins with registration and check-in at 6:15 am, followed by a rolling century start at 7:00 am, with other loop options available throughout the day.
Course Distances:
Participants can choose from various routes:
200 kilometers
Full Century: 100 miles
Metric Century: 100 kilometers
60 kilometer ride
Start and Finish Location:
The event kicks off and concludes at Dunn County Recreation Park, serving as a hub for cyclists aiming to conquer the diverse terrain.
Support and Amenities:
Sadistic Century 2024 ensures a fully supported experience with roaming SAG vehicles and accessible contact numbers for assistance. Riders can refuel at numerous aid stations featuring water, energy drinks, fruits, and assorted snacks strategically placed along the routes:
6 food stops for the 100-mile ride
4 food stops for the 100K ride
2 food stops for the 60K ride
Support Hours:
Aid stations and SAG support are available until 4:00 pm. Participants are advised to plan their start times accordingly, noting closure times for key aid stations along the route.
After-Event Celebration:
Following the challenge, participants, along with their families and friends, are invited to a lively post-race celebration. Enjoy complimentary meals accompanied by a selection of beverages, with additional options available for purchase.
