Savage Century 2024

On Saturday, October 5, 2024, the White Clay Bicycle Club invites cyclists to challenge themselves at the 45th edition of the Savage Century, held at the W.L. Gore Facility in Newark, DE. This renowned event is celebrated for its scenic routes and demanding climbs, offering a premier cycling experience in the mid-Atlantic region.

Participants can choose from four routes—approximately 40, 60, 80, or 100 miles—each designed to provide a unique and rewarding challenge. The 40-mile loop features around 2,300 feet of climbing, the 60-mile route includes approximately 3,700 feet of ascent, and the 80-mile option offers about 5,300 feet of climb. For those seeking the ultimate test, the 100-mile route boasts a significant challenge with nearly 7,700 feet of climbing.
