Tally Tango 2024
Oct 5, 2024 @ 8:00 am - Oct 6, 2024 @ 5:00 pm

The 2024 Tally Tango is back and registration is now live for this thrilling ultra-endurance bikepacking event in Tallahassee, Florida, taking place from October 5th to 6th. Limited to just 50 spots per route category, riders are encouraged to register quickly. The event features the exciting return of the group start, but those who can’t make it can still participate with OYO/ITT options, including purchasing the route, guide, and patch for future rides at their convenience. The Tally Tango offers four challenging routes that showcase the best of the Florida panhandle’s diverse terrain, from singletrack and double track to coastal levees and forest roads.
Participants can choose from:
Tango Original 165: A route with similar features to the 177 but bypasses Aucilla.
Tango 177: Includes the Aucilla Singletrack and Florida’s finest rapids.
Tango 277: Combines the Tango 177 with a detour through Tate’s Hell.
Tango LiTe (Tango through Hell): A mostly gravel route of approximately 234 miles, avoiding nearly all singletrack.
For a $50 donation, participants will receive a patch, a route guide, GPX files, and a waypoint resource file. The event also features a pre-event pizza party and a well-stocked Samurai Camp on Saturday night at no additional cost. Team registration is available, with separate qualifications and resources for teams. Participants must adhere to event rules, including completing the route under their own power, no drafting, and following self-supported guidelines.
Proceeds from the Tally Tango support the ongoing organization of unique events, mapping new routes, and maintaining existing ones.
