The Bon Ton Roulet

The Bon Ton Roulet is a seven-day bicycle tour through the stunning Finger Lakes region of New York State. It supports tour guides cyclists through a variety of landscapes, from expansive farm fields to breathtaking lake views and intricate water-carved gorges. Along the way, riders will pass by National Historic Sites and renowned wineries, immersing themselves in the beauty and history of the region.

For those seeking a challenge, the Long Route offers a daily ride of 65-75 miles, while the Regular Route, at 45-50 miles per day, caters to newer riders or those looking to enjoy leisurely stops at local markets and attractions. Many participants even switch between routes throughout the week, ensuring a personalized and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Saturday, July 20: Registration Day at J.M McDonald Sports Complex/Fairgrounds in Cortland
Sunday, July 21: Ride from Cortland to Emerson Park in Auburn
Monday, July 22: Emerson Park to Hobart & William Smith Colleges in Geneva
Tuesday, July 23: Hobart & William Smith Colleges in Geneva, featuring the Phil Fountain Century Ride
Wednesday, July 24: Hobart & William Smith Colleges to Keuka College in Penn Yan
Thursday, July 25: Keuka College in Penn Yan, loop ride
Friday, July 26: Keuka College to Robert H. Treman State Park in the Ithaca area
Saturday, July 27: Robert H. Treman State Park to Cortland, with the Finish Line closing at 3:00 pm
Included in the tour are camping accommodations each evening with shower and toilet facilities, seven hearty breakfasts, and six delicious dinners. Rest stops are stocked with fresh fruit, snacks, and beverages, ensuring riders stay energized throughout the day. Entertainment, including music, historical presentations, and yoga classes, adds to the experience, culminating in an end-of-tour celebration. Daily support, including maps, GPS, and cue sheets, is provided, and each participant receives a BTR wicking short-sleeve jersey with registration.
