The Cotswolds 200

The Cotswolds 200 2024 offers an exhilarating 200-mile MTB and gravel adventure, meticulously crafted to showcase the region’s most thrilling descents and challenging climbs. Beginning in the historic city of Bath, the route journeys north into the picturesque Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), renowned for its exceptional off-road biking terrain.

With over twenty-five significant downhill sections, the Cotswolds 200 delivers an action-packed ride that also demands substantial uphill effort. The route spans the entirety of the Cotswolds and returns via a completely different path, traversing through Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, and Warwickshire.

Riders can expect to experience some of England’s finest off-road trails, including bridleways, byways, singletrack, and woodland paths, alongside purpose-built MTB trails. The ride also offers breathtaking views from the Cotswolds escarpment, with vistas stretching across the Severn Valley towards the Black Mountains and Malvern Hills.

However, participants should be prepared for a rigorous challenge, with sections requiring high technical skill and featuring steep, rocky, and root-laden trails.
