A Change in Scenery

After racing in fairly mild and warm conditions this summer in places like Turkey, Slovenia, Belgium, France, and Spain, CGC is venturing up north. They are taking part in the Arctic Race of Norway, one of the most northernmost cycling races. The race will take place between Today and Sunday.

A New Member

For this race, China Glory Cycling will welcome its newest member to join, Matteo Malucelli. The Italian sprinter joined the team on the first of August. His most recent race was the National Championship of Italy a month and a half ago. “If I am at the level that I had at the beginning of the season, I am sure the Arctic Race can become a nice one,” Matteo said.

What’s to Come

China Glory Cycling’s general manager, Maarten Tjallingii has high hopes for the team’s new sprinter. He also feels the same about Sean Bennett in the mountain stage. Speaking about the Chinese riders, Xu, Bieken, and Lyu, Tjallingii remarked, “Personally, I hope to see them racing aggressively, for instance by joining early breakaways. We have to see how they deal with such weather conditions though.”
