Elitewheels 29ER PRO33 Rims
RIM
During the rim production process, internal inflatable bladders from a special material are used to produce smoother walls, resulting in a lighter rim. These bladders are then completely removed without the use of harsh chemicals through the valve hole. Our unique manufacturing process makes is so that the rim does not have to be patched to extract the bladders like traditional manufacturers. This significantly improves the strength of the rims.

RIM TYPE
We use both genuine Toray T700 and T800 carbon fiber which is superior to generic carbon fiber used by many manufacturers. The two types of carbon fiber are used in different places to increase the wheel’s strength to weight ratio while reducing lateral and radial forces as well as increasing impact resistance.
The rims have also been specifically designed to make sealing tubeless tires using a floor pump easy.
Elitewheels 29ER PRO33 Hub
HUB
The Elitewheels Pro hub comes standard and features Taiwanese TPI bearings. Both the front and rear hubs are made of 7075 aluminum alloy. The lightweight freebody features a ratchet system with 36 teeth.
DT Swiss hubs are also available.
Elitewheels 29ER PRO33 Spokes
SPOKES
Sapim CX-Ray spokes come standard. We take precautions to ensure that spoke windup is minimized so wheels don’t go out of true. After the initial truing, the wheel is sideloaded. This process is repeated again. The wheels are sideloaded a total of 16 times. We see this as an essential quality control standard. As a result, our wheels are guaranteed to stay within 0.2mm of true.
The 2.8mm spoke offset minimizes the right and left spoke tension difference. This makes for a stonger and more laterally stiff wheel giving you more control.

I have been very impressed with my 29er Pro36 Elite Wheels! I’ll start with the ordering, it was simple and I was updated along the way. Shipping and delivery was on time and well within their estimated window. The packaging that Elite Wheels does is excellent. In fact, better than every other wheel company I’ve purchased from, including famous brands. Each wheel is protected independently and the hubs are very well cushioned so they don’t impact spokes, rims or break through the box. The quality of the rims themselves are top notch. They have a beautiful and consistent finish. The construction is precise. Tires fit perfectly and seal up easily. I have ridden them over different terrain and they are strong. The build is also great. During my first rides I did not hear any pings or noises that would come from spokes unwinding or nipples settling. Elite Wheels does a great job stress relieving their builds and preventing spoke winding. I use these on a 130R / 140F Trail bike and they are light and strong. I have had them for a year now and they are still straight!

Really impressive build quality. The packaging was also really good. The rims also have a nice glassy look. The hubs look and feel ok, I’ll see how they perform over time. I see absolutelly no reason now to go for a differnt brand.

Estoy más que contento con la compra de mis Elitewheels 29 pro36. La zona en la que vivo está llena de sendas con raíces, escalones y rocas que hacen sufrir la llanta especialmente hasta el punto de que ya había cambiado dos juegos de llantas de aluminio. Después de mil kilómetros y cuatro meses de uso puedo decir que he acertado con la compra de estas llantas en concreto, puesto que siguen funcionando igual que el primer día sin necesidad de ningún ajuste. La recomiendo 100% y puedo decir que no tiene nada que envidiar a las DT, Mavic o Bontrager en cuanto a comportamiento, peso, materiales y sobre todo garantía ya que me han dado 60 días para probar sin compromiso alguno pudiendo devolverlas y me ofrecen una garantía de mil días además de tener servicio técnico en mi país. Como resumen puedo decir que la recomiendo y serán mi primera opción cuando vuelva a necesitar llantas de carbono
